With An Identical Record And Having Lost To Stanford In Head-To-Head, USC Will Likely Go To Rose Bowl Based On Their Ridiculously High Ranking

NOW I see why USC is favored to go to The Rose Bowl–they’re ranked a ridiculously high #9!

At 9-3 and having lost to Stanford which is also 9-3, no way should the Trojans be going to The Rose Bowl!

Stanford is ranked a ridiculously low #16. How can a team that BEAT USC at USC with an identical record not be going to The Rose Bowl? Politics, pure and simple. The Rose Committee didn’t want to piss off the USC alumni! They might get their heads bashed in if they did.

The Trojans have beaten Colorado and Washington which I assume is why they’re ranked #9.

I should mention that two USC players–Don Hill and Osa Mesina–have been suspended for sexual assault back in July in Utah.
