Why Can’t ICE Use ITIN Numbers To Track Down And Arrest Illegal Aliens?

Millions of illegal aliens–perhaps 10 million or more of them–work for a paycheck. They can’t get a Social Security number, so the IRS gives them ITIN numbers instead so they can pay taxes.

However, the IRS won’t allow federal agents with ICE to use ITINs to track down illegals for deportation. This has to stop! ITINs are nearly “the perfect tracking system” for finding illegal aliens in our country. Instead, these 10 million or so illegals are being PROTECTED by part of our federal government!

Why Trump isn’t harping on this, I don’t know. It’s pretty clear however that the President COULD order ICE agents to track down illegals using ITINs. My guess is the President doesn’t want these 10 million illegals working for a paycheck to be arrested and deported.

This isn’t “a loophole”. But it’s something that would allow millions of illegals to be easily found and deported.
