We Predict: Hillary Wins With At Least 280 Electoral Votes With NC, CO And NV Putting Her Over The Top
By Dave Levine
With 9 days until the Election and the dust from the FBI Chief’s letter to Congress still not settled, I predict Hillary Clinton will win with at least 280 electoral votes (270 are needed). This gives her a 10-vote cushion, meaning she can still win the Election if she were to somehow lose one of the following three states: Minnesota (which has 10 electoral votes), Colorado (which has 9) or Nevada (which has 6).
This prediction assumes nearly “the worst case scenario” for Hillary Clinton–losing AZ, FL, GA, NH, OH, UT and WI. However, The Emerson Poll yesterday–October 29th–showed Clinton up by 6 in Wisconsin. It’s a heavily union state which is pro-Democrat. Gov. Walker hasn’t campaigned for Trump. Wisconsin has 10 electoral votes.
A more realistic scenario is Hillary Clinton winning with 290 electoral votes–by winning Wisconsin.
An even more realistic scenario is Hillary Clinton winning with 319 electoral votes–by winning Wisconsin and Florida which is in a dead heat.
She will also win if she wins FL but loses NC, NV and WI with 288 electoral votes. She can even win in this scenario if she loses CO.
Early voting (which occurred BEFORE Friday’s October Surprise news from FBI Chief Comey) may indeed preserve her winning on Election Day.
