Stanford Looks Much Better Against Lowly Oregon, 52-27
By Dave Levine
Coach Shaw finally opened up the offense in this game and it was a blow-out.
But with the game in hand, Shaw finally played future star WR Donald Stewart and he caught his first pass before Shaw took out QB Keller Chryst.
Second string QB Ryan Burns was awful as always, throwing over Stewart’s head where no receiver could have caught it. However, Shaw played so many 3rd stringers in “garbage time”, Stewart didn’t get the chance to make more catches. Stewart needs the ball thrown his way or he won’t be able to show what he can do.
Congrats to the players on the Stanford team.
