Stanford Defense And Dr. Love Win Slugfest With USC, 17-3

I have to give the Stanford defense credit for this win. Anytime you can keep a powerhouse like USC from scoring a touchdown, you deserve hats off!

The play-calling wasn’t good throughout the game; otherwise, the score would have been 40-3.

Stanford defensive coordinator calling blitzes early in the game in third down situations really impressed me! Those blitzes made the difference.

Stanford special teams were better than USC’s and that was another difference.
