Republican Ron Estes Eeks Out Win In 3-Way Race For Congressional Republican Seat In Kansas Probably Due To Weakness On Immigration

Trump won this district by 27% last November. Only a 7% win shows how weak Estes is on Trump’s #1 issue–illegal immigration.

Cruz probably helped Estes with the last-minute campaigning for him but I went to Estes’ campaign site and there’s hardly a word about illegal immigration. Apparently, it’s not one of Estes’ strong issues and that is troubling.

Someone like Estes can be “turned” by the Chamber. Let’s hope that doesn’t happen.

We’ll see if he joins the HFC…
