Over 2,000 Dangerous Criminal Aliens Released Into American Communities Every Year Due To Zadvydas Decision: How Trump Can Counter It And Protect Us

By Dave Levine

President Trump has the power to secretly use two methods of getting around the horrible Zadvydas v. Davis decision in 2001 (thanks to late former Conservative Justice Sandra Day O’Connor) that forces DHS/ICE to release dangerous convicted aliens, legal and illegal, back into our communities where some have then murdered Americans.

The first option–what I’ve described in past articles as “The Parachute Option”–only applies to nations with unsophisticated air defense systems like Zimbabwe. Our Air Force would fly these dangerous criminals over these countries and force the criminal aliens to parachute back to their nations.

The second option–what I’ve described as “The Boat Option”–involves our Navy taking these criminals to just outside the territorial waters of countries like China and Vietnam and releasing them with food and water in dinghies or other small craft.

For nations without an oceanic border, other options should present themselves but I would imagine these would be “top secret” and should not be discussed publicly.

While I have no doubt that China and other nations would eventually “cry foul” about this at the UN, there really isn’t much that could be done to stop it. Our government would deny it’s doing it and it would continue.

I believe that President Trump is the kind of leader who can get these actions going. If 2,000 dangerous criminal aliens each year can be removed from the U.S., never to return, I say “Do it!”

No American life is worth losing over these scumbags.

I salute Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) and Rep. Brian Babin (R-TX) for their efforts to get around Zadvydas.
