Now That Trump Has Stated He’ll Sign DACA/DREAM Act Amnesty Bill, Where Does That Leave Strong Trump Supporters Like Anti-Amnesty Corey Stewart And Chris McDaniel?
By Dave Levine
“Between a rock and a hard place” is where I see my friends and fellow law-and-order Conservatives Corey Stewart (running for Senate against Sen. Tim Kaine in Virginia) and Mississippi State Senator Chris McDaniel (close to announcing either a run for Senate against Sen. Wicker or for Lt. Governor).
If they remove their support for the President and run AGAINST him, Amnesty and the GOPe, they won’t get Party money and Trump may even back their Democrat opponent as McConnell did to Roy Moore in Alabama.
If, on the other hand, they run and CONTINUE supporting “DACA Don”, The Man Who Gave The Nation An Unwanted Amnesty, they stand to lose many thousands of votes from Conservatives in VA and MS who will stay home in November and they’ll both be guaranteed to lose. If they continue supporting Trump, voters will no longer consider them to be Conservatives.
In my opinion, they should go with #1–remove their support for Trump and be vocal about it…but will they?
