Now That Trump Has Lied To And Betrayed His Base, Governor Abbott Should Mount An Anti-Trump/Anti-Pence Early Run For 2020 Before Conservative Voters Form A Third Party
by Dave Levine
There’s nothing left for Conservatives to support Trump on. The only things he’s done–other than beat his chest, boast and put a quasi-Conservative on The Supreme Court to replace the late true Conservative Scalia–are signing EOs on Immigration, some of which have been blocked by the Courts.
Anger towards Ryan and the other RINOs running Congress is growing. After giving the Republicans control over all three houses of government, the result is Democrats are getting stronger and the GOP is growing weaker. Conservative voters are fed up. Ryan twisted Conservative’s arms and got nearly the entire Freedom Caucus to support Ryancare II. He also removed the ban on Planned Parenthood money from the Budget bill that just passed.
The list of backstabbings by Trump and Ryan against the base are growing–the Budget deal and Ryancare II (aka Trumpcare) and continuing to fund the abortion mill, Planned Parenthood. Also, Amnesty is coming. I’ve been warning about this for months now. Sure enough, Republican Rep. Carlos Curbelo has filed a DACA Amnesty bill. That’s just the precursor to a General Amnesty bill from Ryan & Co.
The only way to stop this is for Texas Governor Abbott to begin a vocal and strong campaign against Trump and Pence. The only pol who can keep Amnesty from passing is Governor Abbott. Senator Cruz has been almost silent on Ryancare II and on the efforts to pass Amnesty in Congress. The only pol who can keep the Democrats from taking back The White House in 2020 is Governor Abbott. Otherwise, the Dems will have complete control of the federal government at the beginning of 2021.
Texas has taken the lead now against illegal immigration–something many of us have been waiting for decades to see. There is also a strong push for a ConCon from Texas.
Gov. Abbott’s signing of SB 4 should mean the start of his run for President.
I pray he takes advantage of it and signs SB 4 without further ado.
