New Jersey: RINO Businessman Bob Hugin Running Against Sen. Menendez; ‘A Different Kind Of Republican’?
By Dave Levine
It’s too bad businessman Bob Hugin isn’t a law-and-order Conservative. If he was, he’d beat Sen. Menendez. Instead, he’s pure RINO.
Hugin’s campaign site refers to him as “a different kind of Republican”. However, one glance at Hugin’s Immigration paragraph on his Issues page proves he’s anything BUT “different”!
Here’s Hugin’s Immigration paragraph from his campaign site. He was sounding like a Conservative in the first sentence but the buzzwords “comprehensive” and “compassionate” give him away:
Bob agrees with former President Ronald Reagan, who said: “A nation that cannot control its borders is not a nation.” We need to fix our immigration system in a comprehensive and compassionate way. That means securing our borders, opposing so-called Sanctuary Cities, and supporting law enforcement as they keep our communities safe. It also means creating a path to citizenship for Dreamers and immigrants who may not have come here legally, but are building productive and constructive lives in America. We are a nation of immigrants. A nation that is made better, fuller, and stronger by the diversity and talents of our people.
In the first place, there is no such animal as “DREAMERs”! They are illegal aliens smuggled into the U.S. by their parents, relative-adults or coyotes. They are now adults, some as old as 40. Hugin is wrong–we’re a nation OF SETTLERS and then immigrants. DACA illegals have committed crimes since they were smuggled into the U.S. These ARE NOT “good people”!
We are also a nation of laws, not of men! There is nothing “constructive” about lawbreaking aliens circumventing our federal laws! We are not “stronger” by giving Amnesty and citizenship to illegals! We are strong by enforcing the laws of the land, something Bob Hugin seems to be in disagreement with.
The last thing the Senate needs is another pro-lawbreaker RINO! Hopefully, Conservatives in NJ will stay home on Election Day.
