Mississippi State Senator Chris McDaniel Receives Endorsement From Trump In Run For U.S. Senate

Congratulations are in order for Mississippi State Senator Chris McDaniel for receiving President Trump’s endorsement in a tweet yesterday!
McDaniel is running against appointed U.S. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith who was a longtime Democrat rancher and now a RINO. Hyde-Smith has no mention of her position on Immigration/Amnesty on her campaign site. Instead of appointing McDaniel to retired Sen. Cochran’s empty seat, Governor Bryant appointed Hyde-Smith. Trump’s endorsement of McDaniel is a slap in the face to the RINO Governor. Bryant is tight with the still-powerful RINO Haley Barbour who for decades has run the GOP in Mississippi.
The forces of the Establishment are putting everything they can (money, mostly) behind Hyde-Smith in an attempt to stop McDaniel. In 2014, McDaniel narrowly missed knocking out Senator Cochran in the GOP Primary.
Trump is very popular in Mississippi. Like Corey Stewart in Virginia, Senator McDaniel is a true Conservative and a strong supporter of the President. If Senator McDaniel wins on November 6th, it could spell the end of the RINO rule in Mississippi and the ascendance of true Conservative power in this crucial Southern state.
