Let’s Not Forget How Bad National Jailbreak (AKA The First Step Act) Is And How It Should Be Added To The ‘DO NOT VOTE FOR’ List

4,000 federal inmates–drug traffickers, many of them black–were released by Trump in December 2018. Rep. Matt Gaetz spearheaded the move among House Republicans. Jared Kushner, Trump’s liberal son-in-law, pushed it from within The White House.

36 House Republicans, many of them Conservatives, voted against the final bill. Apparently Trump didn’t care. He saw it as winning more black votes. In point of fact, he gained 1% more black votes in 2020 than he got in 2016.

Was it worth it? Crime has skyrocketed in our big cities.

One American male was murdered by a released inmate in a bar in Maryland. One young woman was raped by another released inmate. I wonder if the families of these victims think it was worth it!

Back in October, I posted the following about what I thought of those supporting National Jailbreak:

“Emptying our prisons and jails is an insane effort by liberals in both parties.

So when Trump talks about “law and order”, it’s all a charade because, if reelected, he’ll be asking for The Second Step Act to sign and thousands upon thousands of inmates will be freed to prey on the innocent.

I cannot and will not vote for a pol who thinks we’re safer today with those 4,000 drug traffickers out on the streets.”

I haven’t changed my position one bit. Any Republican running for office MUST be flushed out on National Jailbreak!
