Leftist Columnist At The Guardian Has A Problem With Effigies Of Left-Wing Governor Being Hung From A Tree–Yet Effigies Of Past Presidents And Other White Americans Have Been Hung From Trees Throughout U.S. History
By Dave Levine
The Guardian is a left-wing rag. Edward Helmore wrote a column slamming American Conservatives for hanging an effigy of left-wing Democrat Governor Andy Beshear–an elitist who has no concept of how unconstitutional and useless his Lockdown Order is! Protesters have every right to hang an effigy of the Governor!
Hanging effigies from tree limbs has been part of American history for centuries. It’s part of our culture. I don’t know if it was political Conservatives who hung the effigy in Kentucky, but if it was, more power to them! Governor Beshear is a disgrace.
I noticed that Helmore brings up lynchings in the South in an attempt to “play the race card” as Democrats always do. Beshear is white. There is no “racial component” here!
I believe Americans have the right to hang a figure in effigy in the public square or in the same general area.
