KEEP SAN MATEO COUNTY HAIR SALONS AND GYMS OPEN!

Shutting down San Mateo County hair salons and gyms–the only Bay Area county with hair salons and gyms still open–would be a stupid and wasteful move by Newsom. We hope the Governor will continue to keep hair salons and gyms open in San Mateo County where thousands of Bay Area residents are flocking to get a haircut, a hair coloring and to work out.

The fire season is here already and soon, the air in the Bay Area won’t be fit to breathe. People will be forced to go inside to exercise and thus the need for gyms.

Thousands of small businesses like hair salons need to stay open to pay their bills. Most stylists are self-employed and cannot qualify for unemployment. Self-employed residents in the Bay Area are getting the shaft!

Governor Newsom must do the right thing and keep San Mateo County off “The Watch List”!
