Kate’s Law Bill And The ‘No Sanctuary For Criminals Act’ Aren’t Tough Enough Legislation And Kate’s Law Was Weakened

The above is my version of title by Neil Munro at Breitbart.

Ryan gutted Kate’s Law. There are two parts of the Davis-Oliver Act that are missing and the guts to Kate’s Law that was removed? Mandatory sentences for reentering illegals.

I’m not “excited” about these two bills. They simply aren’t enough along with DACA and Catch and Release continuing.

Very disappointing, actually.

My thanks to americanborderpatrol.com for posting this report.

    I’m SHOCKED I tell ya, SHOCKED! I hope I don’t need a sarcasm tag for that. 🙂
So they pulled the teeth from Kate’s Law…. same thing they have done with everything we were promised on immigration and I won’t even start on the bozocare repeal we were promised for the last 7 years. I’m even having my doubts about Ted Cruz… it seems to me that he is becoming a regular DC politician, compromising instead of staying true to his word. RightScoop had a thread on Cruz and the turtle working together to get the crap sandwich bill passed. I came close to posting on that thread, even though I haven’t posted anything there in many months, but I didn’t see any need to get attacked as a Cruz hater when I’m not. I really just don’t understand why he would attach his name and the conservative brand to this turd bill they are working on.

Sorry for the rant Dave, I’m just sick to death of all of them on the left and the right. I’m now a true Misanthrope.

      Missed you, NOT2L8!!

Yes, I saw that thread. I know…A lot of folks don’t like criticism of their idol.

Cruz is perhaps thinking about next year but he could end up losing some Conservative support in Texas if he pulls this off with the Turtle!
