Iowa Senate Passes Anti-Sanctuary City Bill

Idiot State Senator David Johnson is quoted as saying, “[We should] be ashamed of considering the bill during Holy Week, when religious people should be welcoming strangers.”

What the hell does that mean? Illegal aliens ARE STRANGERS, to be sure, but they aren’t “immigrants”–they’re lawbreakers! Should we be welcoming lawbreakers? No!
