Actions have consequences, make no mistake about it, folks! Senator McConnell holds the future of The Republican Party in his hands as does Trump.

If McConnell keeps HR 5038 and any other Amnesty bill up to Election Day from getting to the Senate floor (where it would easily pass), McConnell saves the GOP from disaster. If he allows HR 5038 to be voted on in the Senate and it passes, Trump can save his reelection by vetoing it. Angry Conservative voters may vote out many Republican Senators for supporting this Amnesty and thus, the GOP will probably lose the Senate no matter whether Trump signs it or vetoes it. More likely, Trump will sign it.

It’s really very simple. All one has to do is look back at 2008 and 2012 (and to some degree, 2014 and 2018) to see what happened when Amnesty-moving RINOs McCain and Romney received the GOP’s nomination, respectively: they both lost to a socialist. In 2014, angry Conservatives gave the House back to the Republicans and in 2018, after electing what they thought was an anti-Amnesty President, angry Conservative voters booted 37 House RINOs, some of whom had signed The Discharge Petition backdoor Amnesty and others who had voted for one or two Republican Amnesty bills that summer. That “anger” gave the House back to the Democrats.

That anger cannot be denied! In 2020, Senator McConnell and President Trump can do the right thing by keeping Amnesty from passing or they can satisfy their masters, the Chamber of Commerce. and face political obliteration on Election Day. The choice is theirs.
