Deace Blasts Evangelical ‘Leaders’ For Backing Trump In Spite Of Lewd 2005 Video

Here’s a terrific post by Steve Deace on Facebook tonight on the Trump video and Evangelical leader support in spite of it.

By Steve Deace

Today another sad reminder selling your integrity to this political system simply isn’t worth it in the long run.

Today another reminder of the wisdom of God’s Word. Unevenly yoking yourself NEVER works.

Today another reminder idolatry of anything, including political party, makes for a poor substitute savior.

Today another reminder character matters.

Today another reminder hypocrisy just never pays off for conservatives.

Today another reminder there’s never a good time to damage your political brand.

Today another reminder why the Word of God tells us “in your anger do not sin.”

Today another reminder that just because you live a Bible belt state and First Baptist is down the road doesn’t mean you’re an evangelical.

Today another reminder the antidote to political correctness isn’t being a douchebag.

Today another reminder that loyalty to political party above all doesn’t make you shrewd but a coward.

Today another reminder of just how silly that GOP loyalty pledge was, and how silly it was for those who bowed to it.

Today another reminder there’s no such thing as “we have to support the nominee no matter what.”

Today another reminder not to let the media, including Roger Ailes/Fox News, pick your nominee anymore.

Today another reminder you can’t beat the Left at its own game, and need candidates of character able to run on actual issues.

Today another reminder “telling it like it is” doesn’t mean become a knuckle-dragger.

Today another reminder no man is capable of making America great again, but our greatness is found in our obedience to our Creator.

Today another reminder the GOP isn’t the family values party, and hasn’t been for a long time.

Today another reminder Christian leaders who ignore or disobey the Word of God aren’t really leaders but sellouts.

Today another reminder why we put our trust in Christ and his Word first, not in princes, men, or political parties.

Today another reminder not to go down with a sinking ship, but to jump to safety rather than be the fool who drowns.

Today another reminder a man who surrounds himself with heretics isn’t someone to sell out to but run away from.

Today another reminder not to fall for cult leaders and con men.
