Change.org Effort To Take Delegates From Trump, Sending Election To House

Hillary Clinton won the popular vote. Trump won the electoral vote with 279.

At present, AZ and MI have not given their electoral votes probably due to counting issues. They combine for 27 electoral votes.

Dominic Marcello who is leading this move online seems to think that enough “faithless electors” from the following states that allow them:

Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia

would be enough to take 37 electoral votes away from Trump (he has won Michigan unofficially and is leading in Arizona), causing the Election to go to the House.

All of these states were won by Trump.

The likelihood of getting 37 electors to leave Trump is slim and none. They’d be afraid for their lives if they changed their votes.

And out in the streets, it would “open rebellion” led by armed Trumpsters! As Sessue Hayakawa (playing a Japenese general) before committing hara kiri in the 1960 war film, Hell To Eternity, “Dees is NOT a pwitty sight for me to see!”

I’m not saying Marcello and his group shouldn’t try this. Just be ready for the blowback!
